I would agree. The rage Rahm Emanuel’s remarks is pretty absurd. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to go after Mr. Emanuel, including his coordinated campaign to go after Fox News and intimidate the head of the CIA for partisan political purposes.

As for conservatives who show sympathy for Islamists, they are really beyond the pale. Grover Norquist is a classic example of someone who has gone over to the dark side, but whose pals will not accept this. We could also, bring up Dinesh D’Souza as another example of a “conservative” who has pandered to Islamists in the past, even though he has toned his fawning down somewhat as of late. I would say that most of posters have encountered Islamists on this site as well as others.

Thoms More Society has done some good work but they should get rid of this fool. I am enjoying watching Rahm twist and turn. While anti-semitism has always been around, I find it strangely interesting that ever since Saudi MONEY has been secretly backing many Conservative groups that people hate Jews all of a sudden on the Right. Most people don’t know that a Saudi Prince owns a sizeable portion of Fox News. Of course this doesn’t affect their coverage of Jews and Israel–oh no.

jimmyPx, I don’t know if it’s the Jewish angle. I only saw Savage once–on TV. Never listened to his radio show. On that viewing, as I recall, he hoped that gay people would get AIDS and die. That was when he was being nice. Prudent Jews, conservative though they might be, could get a bit unnerved at that sort of thing. Me, I always wonder what any kind of movement that would feature Savage would do to the Jews when they got through with other groups.

But the Saudi money has been corrupting universities for decades. It has also been corrupting our foreign service and politicians. No doubt, programming for Jew-hatred has been facilitated by this.

I come to your website because you have information that is not well known or available at other news sites. You tend to think that what you know is common knowledge and your readers should not “doubt you”. I do not doubt for one minute what you have said about Emily Zenotti and Thomas More Law Center but before today I had never heard of either of them. If I was at a conservative meeting and we were all sitting at the same table enjoying conversation about lower taxes and less government control, how would I know that this person was an anti-semite? And that certainly isn’t something I would believe about a person without proof. That said, out that hag and all her associates. Give them the proof of who and what she is and then call them out for guilt by association. It can be as simple as a letter they did not respond to. Do you think Michelle Malkin has security people that check everyone who wants a photo with her? You say Michelle is a fraud and you assume we should all know that. How would we know?

There are a lot of careerist conservatives, and unfortunately, as this post indicates, they put opportunism, and a desire for a quick buck ahead of principles. Some of them have sickening principles.

The Tea Party movement shows the perils of what can happen when a popular movement does not have effective and cohesive leadership. A lot of mass sentiment, and much of it is healthy, but there has been a leadership vacuum, and it seems to be filling up with real opportunists, who are subtly but inexorably turning the Tea Party movement into a careerist vehicle for them.

This national co-opting of the Tea Parties seems to suggest that progress, to the extent that it is made, will have to take place on a local basis, where there are local leaders capable of waging principled battles. I do think this will happen in some locations, if only because there is so much mass sentiment now against the liberals. There will be other Browns, and in some cases, they will have better politics. Hopefully, although Brown won’t be the one, a good local leader will gain influence and be able to lead the conservative movement, or at least local portions of it, in a positive direction where it won’t have to be subservient to opportunists or anti-Semites like those described in this post.

Great point, Little Al. Yes, there are plenty of career conservatives, and few of them care about Islam (otherwise, Debbie would not be able to point out such perfidy).

I like Debbie’s approach of focusing “like a laser” on a relatively few key issues and then digging and exposing, and being merciless when appropriate.

The Tea Parties really should not be too nationalized. We need to have access to them, and that is tough with a hierarchy, especially a “professional” hierarchy.

Too me it sounds like some people care more about their careers and their egos than the job at hand. For argument’s sake if everyone is working for the same goal then everyone should put their egos aside. It is about the money, fame or notoriety? Too me all this fighting seems rather sophomoric. I know people want to be #1 and sometimes people will step over each other to get what they want. Hey I wanted to do that a few years back. It aint worth it. My motto now is I want to be #2. No stress, no drama and your work is that work not your life. I still see people trying to brown nose and get leverage on others. This Zanotti and the rest would do this type of stuff no matter what line of work they are in.

Right Wing Republican’s comments are virtually the only comments taking issue with the substance of what she wrote although the misspelling makes it difficult to understand them.

Are creeps like this the only defenders that Malkin, Zanotti et al have? Probably, as it would be difficult to make an articulate or sensible argument defending them of their actions. Kind of like Pamela Geller few weeks ago; her defenders crossed the line into la-la land too, for the most part. No one with any sense can defend their positions; they thrive by evasion and trying to suppress their opponents; hard to argue coherently for their positions when they are frontally attacked, as was done by Debbie.

BTW, neoconservatives were around for 15 years, and in a few cases 35 years (Irving Kristol’s 1952 defense of Joe McCarthy) before the Buckley-Sobran arguments in the 80s. Also, not for RRW’s benefit, but for the benefit of other readers of this column, a number of the original members of National Review’s editorial board, and prominent supporters were Jewish, such as Frank Meyer.

Buckley didn’t ‘let’ anyone into the conservative movement; the neoconservatives became an independent voice supporting Reagan, attacking Communism, supporting the defense of this country, etc., and of course Sarah Palin, too, is for open borders.

But RRW is probably still mad over Debbie’s attack yesterday of lunatic Rand Paul and his bizarre father Ron.

Far be it from me to defend the Bolsheviks, but in the interests of historical accuracy, the overwhelming majority of Bolsheviks were not Jewish in Russia, although a disproportionate number of Jews were Bolsheviks for the first few years after the 1917 revolution.

And by 1929, when Stalin assumed absolute power, very few Jews, either numerically or proportionately, were Bolsheviks. The mass murders employed by Stalin were, of course, after 1929 when the Jewish Bolsheviks, themselves, had started being purged (i.e. murdered) by Stalin. Thus, you had non-Jewish Bolsheviks killing Jews, a process that continued in the Soviet Union (sic) and Eastern Europe until Stalin’s death in 1953, although a recrudescence of anti-Semitism has occurred in Russia in recent years.

The famine of the early 30s and the attacks on the Kulaks in Ukraine and other places was, of course after 1929, when the Bolshevik Party was Judenrein except on a very symbolic basis.

After the 1917 revolution there was civil war for four years, and although some Christians were killed by some Bolsheviks, it was in the context, primarily of a civil war where people of all religions were killing people of all religions.

It is true that there were some acts of terrorism by the Bolsheviks before and after 1917, and, in fact, this terrorism is generally underplayed by historians, There was also terrorism by other Russian left-wing parties like the Social Revolutionaries, again underplayed by historians, and likewise terrorism by Menshevkis, again, primarily before 1917, and a minority of terrorists were jewish. Although most of this terrorism involved robbing banks, there were a few murders.

The magnitude of Jewish murders of Christians in this context was probably about 1/10,000 or 1/100,000 of the murders of Jews by Christians in Europe, even excluding the Holocaust. From the Crusades all the way up to 20th century pogroms in Eastern Europe through the 1930s, there is no comparing the magnitude of Christian murders of Jews. It was massive, and continuing over centuries, although of course, again, most Christians did not murder Jews, especially in the latter part of the millennium.

The sites that talk about “Jewish Bolshevik” murder of Christians are wacko sites; their names make this clear, but one of the problems of the internet is that crank and reputable sites are displayed without regard to accuracy when Google searches are made.

Thus, even in the 20th century, Christians killed Jews in Eastern Europe and Russia far more than Jews killing Christians, even excluding the Holocaust from consideration — but of course it cannot be excluded from consideration.

Speaking to anti-semitism… As an Evangelical Christian (redundant) I note that the New Covenant scriptures admonish Christians to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to bless the Jewish people. Romans 11 tells the Christian believer that the Jew represents the natural olive branches and that we were grafted in because of their unbelief. But “Boast not against the branches…. thou bearest not the root, but the root thee…. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded but fear: For if G_d spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee…. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for G_od is able to graft them in again”

There are many cultural Christians out there – “Conservatives” as it were, as there are Jews, and for some reason Roman Catholics (Gibson) in particular retain an historic and poisonous animus towards Jews that is totally contrary to scripture. That is why all Christians who know the mind of G_d must acknowledge Israel and the Jewish people as still the “apple of God’s eye”, and to honor and protect them accordingly, as you would an elder brother. Ignorance of scripture on the part of confessing Christians is no excuse.

Saying that the Tea Party movement embraces anti-Semitism is a bit strong. It is more accurate to say that all political movements in this country have embraced anti-Semitism, and that they only superficially renounce it when it is to their political advantage to. In that respect, Jews and Zionism are no different from any other group or interest that has been courted and pushed away according to how the political winds are blowing. Go back 50 years, for instance, and the advocates of Jews and Israel were primarily on the left and their opponents were mainly on the right. Similarly, go back 100 years and some of the biggest race baiters were feminists and union leaders. So, the anti-Zionist and anti-Jewish elements of the Tea Party movement simply represent those that have always been present in society but haven’t been able to advance their views much because neither major political party will allow them to … the official line of both the GOP and the Democrats is to oppose anti-Semitism and support Israel. So if you are someone who believes that Jewish money moguls control the world, the Tea Party movement gives you an outlet that you aren’t going to find anywhere else.

Thanks Debbie for more “Inside Baseball”. I’m so disappointed to see Malkin and Ham standing alongside Zanotti. I would occasionally look at Malkin’s web site and read articles by MKH. You were spot on when you gave me advice about Vannity (Hannity) so I’m thinking that you’re also correct about this group. I’ve never heard of Zanotti but I’ll start looking more carefully, maybe even set up a google alert. But I need to ask, do you think either of them (Malkin or Ham) still have anything useful to add and would be worth still checking out? There is so much information available on the web and so many web sites and bloggers to read that I need to use my time as constructively and intelligently as possible. I’m not going to waste valuable time reading people who have nothing productive to add to my understand of the threat we are under.

All the upclose looks we have had at islam recently have given me an increased respect for the typical Japanese soldier of WWII. Much has been written of their atrocities, but little of their honor. islam hides in civilian clothes behind women and in schools, slithering in as snakes do. No matter what is said about the Japanese, they fought, in uniformed service, like men, for what they believed. No one will ever say that about arabic islam.
The smartest thing our government could do would be to make it mandatory to torture, not waterboard, ALL captured combatants and only give them Bibles.

Yes, I have learned that this is reality – I am sad to say. There is anti-Semitism among SOME conservatives. I am finding out that there is no lack of Saudi (other Islamic/Islamophile) money on both left and right politics. Islam wants to be on both sides so that they are assured of having influence. Folks, their agenda is both anti-American and anti-Semitic. This makes any conservative taking such money or even getting buddy-buddy with anti-Americans – a fraud.

I have noticed that some so-called conservatives never addresses terror related issues even when it begs mentioning. Some expresses a “moral equivalence” theme regarding Israel and her neighbors. This is a sign that they have a prejudice against Jews, and also that they don’t care about the future and security of America.

My heroes are the many sweet, honorable, decent Christian folks who are truly patriotic and are as sickened by hatred of Jews and Israel as I am.

As usual thanks to Debbie for all she does (and endures).

Personally never liked Michelle Maglalang a.k.a Michelle Malkin. Daughter of a physician in the US under a Visa. Maglalang said “the custom of granting automatic citizenship at birth to children of tourists and temporary workers such as Hamdi, tourists, and to countless ‘anchor babies’ delivered by illegal aliens on American soil, undermines the integrity of citizenship-not to mention national security.”
In the politics of FOX News double standards, how many of her own relatives have been petitioned by her parent and have overstayed their US Visas? Uhmm, Maglalang parents should be questioned and for the sake of Maglalang’s own statement, she shouldn’t have been granted US Citizenship.
“Everyone has prejudice” sure she is “eternally grateful” to rationalize her antisemitism.
My suggestion to her; get the clear alternative.
