As John Maine continues his rehabilitation from weakness in his right shoulder, Manager Jerry Manuel gave credence to the idea of switching him to the bullpen by saying the idea was “not radical.”
He added, “We’ll look at all the options.”
Maine, who is 1-3 with a 6.13 earned run average, was placed on the disabled list May 21 with right shoulder weakness after several suspect outings.
