Hello and welcome to the Bitwarden Unofficial chat! 😁
This is a place made by Bitwarden fans for people to interact and help each other with overall discussion about the app and its supported platforms. 👍
Main Rules
There should be some rules to keep it under control. They aren't too long/many. So...
📌 Please follow these rules:
1. ⚠️ Try to stay on the main topic: everything related to Bitwarden itself.
(Changing the subject sometimes is fine, but we need to get the community tidy and clean for other users.)
2. ⚠️ Use the common sense, such as on Redditiquette. (https://www.reddit.com/wiki/reddiquette) (Those are excellent guidelines to be followed that apply for many things on the web. 😉)
3. ⚠️ This is an English only chat. If you want to talk in a foreign language, go somewhere else privately.
4. ⛔️ Don't send or ask for pornographic/NSFW, personal/sensitive information, useless chains (such as "Good Morning" messages), non-trustworthy sources and/or pirated/illegal content. (Bitwarden is open-source and free to use anyway.)
5. ⚠️ Don't be disrespectful/harmful to members. Never insult (such as racism or bad criticism), fault or bully them.
6. ⛔️ Don't flood the group with tons of stickers/GIFs/media/files or random subjects and lines. That also means to do not send bot commands repeatedly.
(Pro Tip: Instead of sending bot commands as slashes (like/rules), try sending them as exclamation marks (like!rules). That helps to lay people that aren't used to Telegram yet do not misclick commands, hence polluting the chat. 😉
PS: The bot might warn or kick you if you send as slashes without consent. 👀)
7. 💡 Try to send your question(s) and/or message(s) in a few lines or even within a single message with sequential line breaks. This makes it easier to read and it is eye-friendly 📃👀. Try to avoid sending numerous messages in a row. If you do so, it's likely that the bot will kick or ban you immediately.
8. 💡 If you want to share a big source code or an error log, try to send it as a text file or use Pastebin (https://pastebin.com/) (for example) with a proper link. 📄
9. 💡 If you want a more specific or concise support, don't forget to go to the official support communities and create a new thread (Discouse: https://community.bitwarden.com/) or issue (GitHub: https://github.com/bitwarden/) (if necessary) or go to the official websites (down below).
Note: Don't forget to use the search button first! 🔎
10. ⛔️ No self, third-party groups/channels or (shady) links promotion without admins' consent. Please talk to them first before doing so. 🛂
11. ⛔️ Don't PM the admins and members without consent or a proper reason. Ask here first if necessary. 🗣💭
12. ✅ Any suggestions to improve the community organization and ease of use are welcome. 🙂
❗️ Those who disrespect or infringe the rules can be warned or banned without consent.
🔰 Tip: if you see someone annoying or breaking the rules, just reply a suspicious message with @admin.
