IDEA senior Kierell Green claims to have never been concerned about the lack of recruiting attention coming his way the past two years.
But other coaches from the D.C. Public Charter School Athletic Association, including Timberwolves Coach James Pope, worried for him. They all wondered why no colleges were coming to watch the breakout season the 6-foot-6 wing was enjoying this winter, fearful Green could become the latest promising prospect from this league to go unnoticed.
