DESCRIPTION:

CastleTop Diamond-Shaped Metal Roof Tiles lend an exceptional appearance to any home. Manufactured from aluminum, this long lasting, very lightweight and durable metal shingle is a perfect alternative to traditional roofing products and will never rust. In many cases the shingles may be applied directly over the old roof, eliminating the need for tear-off and disposal. Shingle weight is about 38 lbs/square.

CastleTop Metal Roof Tiles measure 15-3/4 inch x 15-3/4 inch with an actual exposure of 13-1/2 inch x 13-1/2 inch. There are generally 78 shingles per 100 square feet. Shingles are shipped in full cases. 39/case (about 19 lbs). Each case covers 49-53 square feet, depending on complexity of roof, edges and overlaps.

CastleTop Metal Roof Tiles have an embossed finish and are available in 30 standard colors, 4 premium, and 2 anodized. Colors can be combined to make patterning effects (make separate orders for each color).

COLOR AND FINISH:

• CastleTop Diamond roof Tiles are available in standard STOCK and CUSTOM COLORS include Redwood, Forest Green, Rocky Grey, Slate Grey, Bone White, and Black. Colors can be combined to create interesting effects. The paint system is a high-performance premium finish that provides maximum protection from the sun's harsh UV rays and is non-staining. CastleTop Diamond Tiles are also manufactured in 16 oz. copper and .028 zinc by special order.

TECHNICAL DATA:

The PDVF finish, with the brand name of Kynar 500 or Hylar 5000, is one of the finest finishes available. It is noted for its long life, color retention and resistance to fading and chaulking. The finish is factory applied and oven baked. The metal can be bent, shaped, crimped and formed after being coated. The paint system is applied and tested in accordance with strictest quality control measures. Field and performance tests include fire resistance, wind uplift, penetration and impact resistance. Tests are independently conduected in accordance with criteria set forth by governing code officials.
