Tu Mero Mole

Was craving a hearty soup and I remember such good things about this place years ago when I was still in a high school. Decided to give it a try, and wow I'm glad I did! The pozole was soooooo packed with ingredients. Especially the chunks of chicken!!! We also got the chicken quesadilla, and we loved the grilled flavor of the chicken. Chips + salsa were complimentary!

Service was amazing :) and the restaurant is large and roomy. I would definitely return!!!

Been coming here for years, I love Tu Mero Mole and looks like they expanded their eating area so that's exciting!

Huge huge huge fan of their orange sauce (it's peanut based) and 10x better than la Vic's not to mention their burritos are 100x better in the first place.

Portions and prices are solid. 5/5 not much else to say, try it for yourself

Food was very good. Steak fajita and taco salad came with a good portion. Wish I could get more tortillas, they gave 3. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the taco shell of the salad was nice and crunchy.

I find it hard to find good burritos that are not from a food truck (not sure if it's the stove that helps make a difference), but I love how they cook the burrito meat here! Each bite gives you a consistent texture and flavor. I usually like to drown my food in sauces, but here, no need. However, I do make sure to drink their green sauce if there are any left over!

CLOSED ON SUNDAYS, pls update yelp hours. Excited to try the mole sauce, will be back when they are open...

The shrimp tacos used to be unsurpassed and my regular jam here. I was so disappointed the last few times I ordered these - there are a measly 2-3 shrimp pieces in the taco and a whole lot of potatoes in it!! Whaaat? Why mess with perfection?

The upped the price which I wholeheartedly support, but there's simply no excuse for nickel and diming customers by stuffing fillers into the taco and ruining it. The time before they picked chicken instead of shrimp in my takeaway order of shrimp tacos and I thought it was a mistake but now I'm not so sure.

Please WAKE UP whoever is running this restaurant and go back to your previous standards!!!

This place rolls a fat burrito.
The picture in this review is their Al Pastor super burrito. I've also gotten the Carne Asade and Carnitas burritos and they were similar in size and quality.

Came back after few years and this time I got the mole chicken enchiladas. They were so good! the mole tasted authentic and was perfect! We also got some chips and salsa and there was one peanut salsa which was something I have never seen at a Mexican place and boy was that spicy!!!! in a good way. :-). Next time I would like to try their churros and flan. :-)

Still my favorite go to place for burritos. Service is speedy and professional (and friendly!!) and the food is fresh and delicious.

Hubby and I get two burritos. We love the carne asada and I wanted something different and have been doing the shrimp burrito lately. Anyway, we cut them in half and eat half for lunch and half for dinner (or the next day's lunch)

I've been trying other places and my biggest complaint is you don't see the meat (or shrimp) when you cut it in half. I haven't found many that do a well filled burrito.

That's why I keep going back to Tu Mero Mole. Plus, they put in chips when I do takeout. Other places don't. And charge more. So I'll vote with my wallet and stomach.
