YouTube Cover Carnival – An Introduction

The YouTube Cover Carnival contest is one of the programmes under The Pixel Project’s Music For Pixels campaign that aims to inspire YouTube artistes and music fans to speak out and step up against Violence Against Women (VAW).

It is a friendly competition and community-building initiative encouraging up-and-coming musicians everywhere to record their cover of a specific positive empowerment or anti-violence Pop song selected by The Pixel Project, upload it to YouTube to raise awareness about VAW, and submit it for a chance to win prizes such as free song production, mixing and mastering.

This contest is currently being revamped and will return in 2015.
