Anabolic Steroids and Women
Anabolic steroids have a bad press and it is for good reason. There are many health issues that can arise from their repeated use which effect both men and women. Today however I shall focus on women. A worrying number of women are experimenting with steroid use to enhance their appearance and to bulk out their muscles. But do they understand what else is going on in their body? The fact is that there are lots of things happening, some which will be plain for all to see and others that won't be detected until severe damage has been done. However none of this needs to happen as there are safe alternatives available which are made from natural ingredients and which provide top legal steroid stacks.
Women are as much at risk of side effects from the misuse of steroids as men are. The most obvious, and well documented problems, are conditions effecting the blood pressure. This generally means that the blood pressure increases and over time this can cause cerebral vascular accidents, also known as a stroke, or heart attacks. Whilst these points may be openly discussed, less emphasis is given to the increase in body hair that women can have. This is not just on the body, which frankly would be bad enough, but also facially. No women wants to start seeing facial hair gradually appearing as this is certainly not a look they will be after. However, it can also go the other way and women can lose hair leaving them with bald patches or thinning hair, for more info click here.
Often women want to enhance the size of their breasts and this can be achieved with exercise. But, once again, steroids will cause problems here too. Often they can cause the size of the breasts to shrink which is not a situation that most women want to occur. If you couple this with a deepening of the voice, you can see that the body of many women will actually start resembling that of a man, and for someone who set out to improve their looks, this is certainly not ideal. Their menstrual cycle, or periods, can also be effected which may lead to problems later in life. Connected to this are mood swings. Women can be known for suffering from these at certain times anyway but not at the intensity that steroids will cause or with the aggressiveness that is also associated with them.
Of particular concern is when young girls start taking steroids before they are fully grown as they can cause problems with growth leaving the individual stunted in growth or in some cases an ageing of the bones can be seen on closer inspection. Growing is an essential part of development that should be allowed to happen naturally. But with the threat of tumours, stunted growth, acne and hair loss it seems amazing that any women would still consider taking them. Especially as there are much safer methods to create the same results by natural products that are also available completely legally.
