The Egged bus, traveling to Jerusalem line 402 on Rechov Reb Akivah, hit the 16-year-old boy while he fell into the road critically injuring him.
Rescue teams from Ichud Hatzolah arrived within a few minutes trying to resuscitate, but without success, and a doctor arrived on the scene pronounced him dead. ZAKA volunteers care team 410 responded to the scene.
The victim’s friends tell of a young happy and beloved teenager, a resident of the capital.
