LYNNWOOD, Wash. - A school bus with two special education students aboard was struck in a collision between two other vehicles Monday morning near Lynnwood, officials said.
Neither of the two children was injured, but both were taken to the hospital to be checked out as a precaution.
Deputies, state troopers and medics responded to the scene, at 35th Avenue West and 156th Street SW, at about 7:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a crash involving a school bus, said a Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokesperson.
A preliminary investigation found that a white minivan and a black Chevy GMC were involved in a T-bone crash, which pushed one of the vehicles into the school bus.
The road is completely closed at the intersection.
