ConsVibrates on all but the smoothest roads. This blurs what one can see.
ProsEasy to fit. Good field of vision.
Easy to fit and a good field of vision. The drawback is that it tends to vibrate on all but the smoothest road so what one sees is rather blurred.

Consfragile in falls/drops (although I suppose most are)
Prosgood mirror, easy fitting
Have used for many years. Bought to replace one I had broken (stupidly I let the bike blew over as I was shutting the shed door, although I have broken a couple of others in falls). Easy to fit and good view so long as it is attached tightly enough. Stem breaks on the curved bit above its attachment to the hood if you drop the bike or fall off on that side. Great price form SJS!

Fantastic. It makes you much more aware of whAt is coming from behind. When I ride my bike without a Blackburn Road mirror I really miss it and find that I have developed a habit of constantly looking across to the top of the brake hood. It is easy to swap from bike to bike as it just straps on very securely with Velcro.Bad point is that if the bike falls over on that side then the mirror is the fitter thing to hit the ground so I have smashed a lot of them over the years but still think they are worth it.
