RTM to manage a small business

praval.singh says:
With the internet becoming a prime source of survival for most talented individuals, a lot of of entrepreneurs like me face the challenge to manage tasks across the team.

There are a lot of project management tools - but the irony is, most non-techie team mates fail to understand them and hence never adopt them. Secondly, none of them has an amazing mobile experience.

With something as good as RTM with the option to use it on the web/ mobile/ tablet - I can create tasks, share them with the concerned team mates and keep track of when is a task due (sms/ email alerts), and whether it got completed.

So I can track the list of activities my team member has to to while sitting in a meeting with a client - over my blackberry/ iPhone/ Android. Wow!

RTM is not just a ToDo list manager. It is a task/ project management tool for startups.

Cool!

Sorry for disturbing you, but i wish to use RTM exactly the way you do. Is there any tutorial for that? I am just starting with RTM, but how exactly as a manager can I track the progress of the current "project" that only two people are working on?

Hey Mischscho,

I am glad you liked the idea.

I am not sure of the tutorial but the RTM blog shall have an article on the group taste for sure.

You can send a task after you've created it for for someone. Also, you can keep a track of what got done during a day and what's been kept pending, in more than just one way!

RTM is a great app for managing 2D ToDo lists (groups). :)
