Disabled girl molested in Delhi hospital,technician held

A 17-year-old physically challenged girl was allegedly molested inside the premises of Swami Dayanand Hospital by one of the employee on Sunday.

The accused,Rajiv Kumar (24),works as a technician at the hospital and has been arrested.

The girl,a student of Class XII,had undergone a surgery at the hospital on March 30 and was admitted in the ICU.

Police said on Sunday evening Kumar began to misbehave with her. He also reportedly spoke to her in an obscene manner.

Her mother had gone to the medical store at the time.

When the mother returned,she saw Kumar molesting her daughter and informed the hospital authorities. A PCR call was made and Kumar was arrested.

A case has been registered against him.

The hospital is located in GTB Enclave,Northeast Delhi.
