Sydney man charged with assaulting disabled woman

A 43-year-old man has been charged over the alleged sexual and indecent assault of a disabled woman in Sydney's west.
The 57-year-old woman, who has a physical disability and is wheelchair-bound, was travelling on a train from St Marys to Mount Druitt in the early hours of May 9 when she was approached by the man.
After getting off the train, it's alleged the man pushed the woman to a secluded area near the local library where he sexually and indecently assaulted her.
Following inquiries, police arrested an Oakhurst man on Thursday and charged him with aggravated sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault.
He was refused bail and is set to appear at Mt Druitt Local court on Friday.
