Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering for the B Corporation B Inspired 2015 Event!
The B Inspired Event is taking place on Thursday, October 15th starting with TED style B Inspired talks at the Crystal Ballroom followed by booths and food carts at Pioneer Courthouse Square at 5:30 p.m. The event wraps up with a B Inspired Concert at 8:00 p.m. back at the Crystal Ballroom.
As a volunteer you will receive complimentary admission to the event, including any meals provided as part of the programming.Complimentary admission does not include travel or lodging costs, so please plan accordingly. Visit the event website for more information on travel logistics. Please be prepared to volunteer for approximately 4-6 hours during your volunteer shift that will take place on the day of the event, October 15th. We will send a shift selection email to the accepted volunteers with a list of shifts to choose from. However, we typically need help in the following areas:
Registration Assistant | Help set up the registration area prior to the start of the event. Compiling informational materials for attendees. Assisting with a variety of tasks such as directing attendees, general registration,speaker check in, setup/breakdown, etc.
Directing Attendees & Waste Management | Assisting with a variety of tasks such as directing attendees to the various events, restrooms, exhibitor stations, etc. as well as monitoring waste disposal during and after meals as needed.
Main Stage Support | Monitor the session door and answer basic questions about the event. Assist attendees getting into and being seating inside the venue.
