First0Wings 'N More150.8021.52231.5+ Parmesan Garlic was the favorite flavor, and a surprise hit. Everyone liked how buttery they were.
+ Some disagreement on whether the parmesan garlic wings could actually be eaten in 'normal' wing quantities (i.e. double digits). Part of table thought they were too rich to eat too many of - but could agree they would be nice mixed into a hot wing session. Others thought the wings were great and would come back just for that flavor.
+ Table got a sample of the hottest wing sauce (ultimate?), and agreement was it was the same heat level as the 'Hot' sauce but with more vinegar.
+ Wings were of OK size, but were overcooked - most wings were slightly dry at the tips.
+ Original overall assessment of a 2 was changed after visiting a number of other places. It was the only location to be rated down after comparison with other stops
+ One positive on the menu: $2.50 draft Shiner all day everyday.

Second4.1Beaucoup300.404.543.513.54+ Crawfish bread was just as good as advertised. The stuff cravings are made of.
+ Overall rating could have actually been higher if not for the inconsistent reaction to the sauces.
+ Hot was universally disliked. Nothing wrong with the sauce, but there was general agreement it was neither especially flavorful nor spicy.
+ Spicy barbecue was a favorite for some at the table, but was judged too sweet by others, and at least one noted that it tasted like grocery store bottle sauce. Most agreed it actually was not spicy at all.
+ Beaucoup sauce was, like spicy BBQ, viewed inconsistently around the table. Some loved it - and specifically would come back for the flavor. Others thought is was bland.
+ All loved the flavored lemonades, and were intrigued by the potential of the waffles and wings on the brunch menu.
+ Unlike Wings 'N More, Beaucoup's luster improved as the crawl went on. Many of us wanted to go back

Third7.9Niko Nikos201.032.252.753.52.25+ Overall rating suffered because approximately half the group had very overcooked, dry wings.
+ Wing platter could not be ordered without fries (or rather, was same price with or without fries)
+ In general, everyone loved the sauce. Was not too spicy and had a good deal of flavor. Wings as served were not sauced enough, and the half of the table that enjoyed their wings actually added a good amount of sauce to the wings before eating.
+ The place was PACKED, although that seemed normal for a Saturday afternoon.
+ There was only one wing sauce offered.

Fourth14.5Little Bitty Burger Shack240.674.54.53.7531.54+ Overall very good wings. Large, cooked well, flavorful sauces and friendly service.
+ General consensus that the lemon pepper sauce flavor was not good. Not really anough flavor, and the lemon pepper seasoning combination was a bit too delicate for the fried wings.
+ Got a sample of the 'nitro' sauce - house made habanero based sauce. Amazingly spicy - unpleasant to some.
+ Hot was consensus the best spicy sauce of the crawl. Extremely spicy, but with a rich flavor as well. Owner indicated it was a house mix of habanero pepper and Franks Red Hot. Majority loved it, but for a few it was too hot to eat more than a couple of wings.
+ Two different batches of hot wings were ordered, and those that ate some from both batches agreed that the spciness/saucing was more intense on the first batch
+ BBQ had a few fans, but the people that loved the Hot wings were generally non-plussed by BBQ.
+ Sliders were, as usual, fantastic.
+ Learned from the owner that wings are sold wholesale by size, as a count/lb. Little Bitty buys only 6-9 wings - and those were the biggest available. Beaucoup wings seemed slightly larger
"These Hot Wings are Very Respectable"

Fifth1.9Hooters240.8210.501+ Hooters was universally viewed as not good
+ Chicken quality was lowest of any place - wings were very small, and most were overcooked
+ Flats were served with wingtips still attached - and some wing flats/drums had not been separated at all before breading and frying
+ Although a side order of Nuclear sauce was deemed somewhat spicy, nothing could save the flavorless medium wings.
+ Medium had basically no sauce at all - flavor and spice were from breading only. Hot were not spicy at all, just slightly vinegar flavored.

Sixth7.7Petrol Station360.582.512.52.25+ Overall judgment was that Petrol wings were good for bar wings, but not something worth driving out for.
+ Sauce was most likely Franks Red Hot. Just spicy enough to be noticeable, but not so much as to ruin the flavor of the FANTASTIC BEER SERVED AT THIS BAR.
+ Someone in particular who might have been taking notes thinks that Petrol is the greatest beer bar in Houston and serves a GREAT SELECTION OF FANTASTIC BEER
+ Did someone mention FANTASTIC BEER? No? OK: FANTASTIC BEER!
+ Only one sauce was offered. Overall slightly below average.
+ (FANTASTIC BEER!)

Seventh5Buffalo Wild Wings360.7113.12533.252.752.5+ Wings were tiny. Only Hooters had smaller wings.
+ Group was unimpressed by Wild sauce. Just not spicy at all, certainly compared to Little Bitty
+ Spicy Garlic was a favorite, but generally only by those that already knew they liked it. The people that had not had it before found it slightly bland.
+ Surprisingly good beer selection for a BWW.
+ Restaurant very new - smelled like paint thinner and carpet glue.
