Centennial Olympic Park Fri.-Sun., Apr. 18-20 SweetWater 420 Fest After nine years in Candler Park, the SweetWater 420 Fest will bring its 5K run, fusion of booze, tunes, arts, and laughs. Despite a different terrain, expect more of the same highlights that have made the annual event an ATL staple. Details

BoccaLupo Fri.-Sat., Apr. 17-19, 5:30 p.m. BoccaLupo Turns 1 Chef Bruce Logue and his kitchen are offering its daily tasting menu but with the neighborhood’s favorites that helped the restaurant become a success. The menu isn’t exact yet, but expect the guys to include dishes like the octopus and mortadella speidino, Roman fried cauliflower, 20 yolk tagliatelle, and the famous black spaghetti. Bar Manager Questa Olsen is providing her beverage pairing featuring possible cocktails like the tourist, goldfish sticks, and of course authentic Italian wines. Details

Lure Fri.-Tues., Apr. 18-22 Gefilte Fish 2014 Celebrate Passover with the traditional Jewish dish gefilte fish. Guest have the choice to order the special item for dine in or take out. The takeout package serves four and includes a beet horseradish. Details

Courtyard Decatur Downtown/Emory Sat., Apr. 19, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Southeastern Craft Brewers Symposium Have a chance to learn and meet some of the Southeast’s craft brewmasters at this first symposium. Attendees will learn about topics as varied as yeast propagation, maintaining a distribution partnership, hop varieties, and the legal issues of running a brewery. All proceeds go to the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild, who organized the event. Details

Trees Atlanta Sat., Apr. 19, 1 & 4 p.m. Design Your Edible Landscape Learn how to transform your background into a small garden with the Homestead Atlanta, a group dedicated to teaching forgotten skills to sustainable living. The class will cover basics of planting design, choosing the right plants for the right place, multi-purpose planting, starting with the right soil, identifying microclimates, maintaining an edible landscape, and problem-solving.
