KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman claims workers tied a rope around her disabled daughter`s neck as they led her onto a bus.

She was headed home from an adult day center called the Carousel.

Marie Sims` 23-year-old daughter, Marilyn, is blind, deaf and suffers from seizures.

About a week ago a bus driver told Sims some disturbing news.

“She told me there was two young guys that brought her out that had her tied up around her neck, double tied, and it was tied in the back or the front, tied to her pants, tied to her belt loops,” said Sims.

Surveillance video from the bus shows two carousel workers leading Marilyn onto the bus. In the video, you can see a white rope tied around her neck and running down her back.

The day center director says they have not seen the video and need time to take a look at it before commenting.
