Preamble
After a long time using MIUI, I decide to go back to a fast and non-bloated ROM. CM9 seems a good option.
However I didn't like some of it's options and built-in apps. That's why I created Slim Series for marvel and marvelc.

Features
- Stable ICS
- Stripped down a lot
- Nexus bootanimation
- Jelly Bean Camera and Gallery
- MIUI ringtones and notifications
- Integrated file manager
- Better stock applications which are easy to remove
- Windows Phone 7 Multitasking

Download
Flash the ROM, then gapps. If you want you can reodex the ROM for more data space.

Long time no see @Henry_01 :D!!. The rom sounds nice.......... Will try it when I'm in the mood of something stable....
I think I'll only suggest adding visual tweaks..... Other tweaks take a toll on the battery

Recommended gapps? I installed a package and getting fc's on play store. Is SU working? Never used that file manager, can't browse root (or don't know how). int2ext+ works for me.

:rolleyes: Ehm nope? Probably that it's just stupid to release ROMs with small changes. I believe this one will be different. Not too many mods but only the things I want. If you don't like it, good for you. Beware that this ROM is not finished yet. And it already exists for over a month, but I think XDA is more popular then our own team website, so posting here seems logical. :) (BTW: I hate large quotes)

Ever seen something like stock Ice Cream Sandwich? I must say this ROM looks very similar. :laugh:

The one from the download site. Strange issue, everything works fine here. PM me personally if you have more issues.

Working USB tethering! Now I can upgrade from stock.

I find no bug at all in this ROM.

i don't know if it is a bug or it's my radio.
i cannot receive incoming calls.
when i tried calling my wfs, i can hear from the calling phone that it's ringing but only ones and then right after it becomes busy.


has anyone experienced this?

Our server is down currently. I've contacted the other team members and it should come online again in the following days. In the meantime we are working on an automatic script which creates a mirror to our goo hosting. Just have some patience.

There is a SlimSandwich ROM on our goo mirror, but it isn't the latest version. You can always try that one if you're in a hurry.

Mehh , I guess I'm gonna test the AOKP first then install this rom after the server is back online :)

Been using it for a few days.......Really fast and smooth,especially with Link2SD..
And the WP7 multitasking looks great with Launcher 8 :D

On second thought...... only problem: it has a little bit laggy video playback. I mean, it uses HW decoding, ok, but it has very small lags while playing..

    Blah, blah, blah. The LG Optimus One and the Samsung Galaxy Ace came out with Android 2.2 Froyo. Nowadays, they're running with fully-working CM10.1! And yeah it's cool that you will get a new device soon, everyone who *makes an uprade* says this before he sells his old device. But nobody knows that the WFS has got huge potential and I'll use it till it drops dead!
    In short: I hate posts like *it's time to buy a new phone*...

    Calm down. Use INT2EXT without plus or try to reflash the ROM.

    And #hashtags are usally not used in fora.

    Ehy Mate,

    First you have to install the slimsandwich 1.2 and reboot.
    Insert pin, check that home button is fuctioning,THAN reboot in recovery and flash both (1) CronMod.int2ext and (2) gapps.
    Reboot again, enjoy!

    For GAPPS, I'm using ICS gapps, don't remember which one in particular, but i think this one: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=31943283
    For CronMod, I'm using the last build, INT2EXTV2+, without the SWAP mode (don't know what is it, so I don't falsh it! ^^), but if you prefer you can use the previous version. Here's the page: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1716124
