14 DAY TRIAL // Only a few hours are left until Sony finally reveals the new NEX-6/7 successor (A6000), but if you want to get a glimpse of what's coming, we've stumbled upon the first leaked image with the new Sony mirrorless camera.
DRphotorumor has posted on its Twitter profile a new photo that shows the top of the upcoming Sony A6000 interchangeable lens camera. By taking a closer look at the photo above, we can see that the new model looks quite similar with the NEX-7 mirrorless camera (at least from the top).
The Sony A6000 sports the same mode dials configuration, a custom function button (C1) placed near the On/Off switch, a more compact flash (compared with the NEX-7), as well as the EVF placed on the left side of the camera.
The A6000 comes with a 24.3MP Exmor-R sensor that features an improved RGB filter and Bionz X processor optimized to offer low noise and diffraction as well as increased sharpness.
Update: Digicameinfo has revealed that Sony A6000 also features a tiltable 3-inch 921K-dot LCD display and will come as a kit bundled with the 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens. There will also be a double lens kit that will include the 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS and 55-210mm F4.5-6.3 OSS optics.
