Deaf girl 'frozen in fear' during alleged sexual assaults from Sydney cabbie

A deaf schoolgirl who claims she was sexually assaulted by a taxi driver on several occasions  in Sydney’s west was “frozen in fear” during the attacks, a court has heard.
The girl, now in her teens, has alleged she was assaulted by cabbie Osman Chamseddine on four occasions in 2009 as he drove her to a school in Sydney’s west.
She was aged 10 and 11 at the time of the alleged offences.
Mr Chamseddine has “vehemently denied” the charges.
His lawyers have asked the jury to consider whether the alleged victim was “an honest and reliable” witness.
The Crown has said the profoundly deaf girl was too scared to tell her mother about the alleged attacks.
