Scanned drawings that would then be tweaked in photoshop for the colorful fireworks spread in my new book.

Yesterday Judah told me my drawings are too dark. I couldn’t figure out which kind of dark he was talking about. Too much ink? Too much gloom? I appreciate his criticism either way. Here’s a dark bird from the sketch pile.

This is a screenshot of that moment when you click or unclick a few choice layers in Photoshop to reveal just how much you’ve been hacking away at the thing, but you kinda like this raw version more. #wip #process
