A man has been charged after an attack on a 23-year-old intellectually disabled man in Sydney’s south.
The 26-year-old man allegedly followed the man off a train into a nearby laneway in Bexley North last week, before allegedly assaulting him and going through his wallet.
He has been charged with assault with intent to rob, detain for advantage and common assault.
He also allegedly dragged the victim a short distance, before he managed to break free and enter a nearby pharmacy where he called for help.
The man was arrested at a Concord property yesterday and will face Burwood Local Court today.
