A 13-year-old boy was injured at the Taylor Swift concert at CenturyLink Field on Saturday evening, when he fell from the 300 to the 200 level.
The 13-year-old boy who fell from the 300 to the 200 level at CenturyLink Field at Saturday night’s Taylor Swift concert has improved from serious to satisfactory condition, a spokeswoman for Harborview Medical Center said Monday morning.
The Seattle Fire Department said the fall was the equivalent of a one-story height.
“It was shocking to see. It took a moment to realize it was a real person,” said Vicki Binns, who was at the show with her husband and two daughters.
The fall happened at about 7 p.m., as a warm-up act was playing. Said Robert Craighead, attending the show with his family: “I was walking down the aisle when I heard a big ‘thunk.’ I was hit by a piece of flying plastic.”

He said the youth fell right by a group of four girls.
“They all screamed. His leg was right through the arm thing on the chair. I could see blood,” said Craighead. “He was skinny. He was in a daze.”
Kyle Moore, spokesman for the Fire Department, said that right after the accident, the boy was “stable, alert and conscious” as medics treated him where he fell. Moore said the boy said he couldn’t remember what had happened to make him fall.
He was listed in serious condition Sunday at the hospital.
A number of people at the show took to tweeting about the accident. One young woman wrote: “Just saw someone fall a story down at the Taylor swift concert. My heart hurts.”
