Three Russian Helicopters Reported Over East Ukraine

The Ukrainian National Guard reports the incursion of three Russian helicopters and four trucks carrying combatants.

“Today two Russian Mi-8 helicopters and one Mi-24 [gunship] entered Ukrainian airspace,” the National Guard’s press office said, citing the force’s information chief Yury Stets. “It was also established that four Kamaz truck carrying fighting men came in from Russia today.”

The National Guard says that 20 tanks and 122 other armoured vehicles that came in from Russia are currently in Luhansk region.
