A Victorian park in Brighton which was given to the city more than a century ago is due for a bit of TLC tomorrow.
Volunteers are needed at Blakers Park, off Preston Drove, to help lay additional hedges around the perimeter of the popular green space. The park, which has an ornate clock tower as its centrepiece, was given to Brighton back in 1894.
The Friends of Blakers Park community work party will be held from 11am to 2pm.
All tools will be provided, but you must wear sturdy footwear and gloves. Youngsters must be accompanied by an adult.
