>> Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel has hired three new associates: Gwendellyn I. Earnshaw, Gregory Jackson Jr. and Victoria Lin Sakamaki. Earnshaw was formerly a law clerk and special judicial intern. She will concentrate on litigation. Jackson will concentrate on labor and employment law. Sakamaki will concentrate on trusts and estates. The company is a limited liability law partnership with more than 70 full-time attorneys.

>> USS Missouri Memorial Association has hired Elizabeth Churchill as international sales manager for the Mighty Mo team. For the past 10 years, she has worked in the Hawaii tourism industry overseeing sales and marketing for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands with companies such as American Hawaii Cruises, Peck Sims Mueller and Reed Travel Group.

>> Allstate Insurance Co. Exclusive Agent Matthew Cerizo has opened an agency in Kihei, Maui. He will offer auto, property, commercial and life insurance products and counseling. He comes from his father Tom Cerizo's agency in Wailuku.

>> Commercial printing company Obun Hawaii Group has hired Mika Kishida, Dana Serikaku and Atsuko Hori. Kishida will write editorial and advertising copy for the Japanese market. Accountant Serikaku will oversee the general ledger, job costs, accounts payable and receivables, as well as financial statements. Hori performs is an administrative assistant.

>> Finance Factors Ltd. has hired Alan Tamanaha and Amy Nguyen as residential loan officers. Tamanaha most recently served as a Charter Mortgage Ltd. loan officer and handled mortgage loan origination, processing and closing. Nguyen previously served as Island Sound Inc. operations manager and is a Realtor.

>> Tim Romero has joined Ferro Union Hawaii's metal roofing department as an estimator and sales representative. He has 17 years of experience in the industry. The company is located at Campbell Industrial Park and manufactures metal roofing systems, a hot-dip galvanizing plant and a steel servicing center. Its parent company is MacSteel Service Centers USA.

>> Beverly FeBenito, Irma Pante and Jodee Acoba-Suganama have been named management executives at Hawaiiana Management Company Ltd. FeBenito previously worked for twelve years as a Chaney Brooks & Company Inc. property manager. Pante served as retail brokerage firm Crossmark/Rainbow Hawaii account executive for five years. Acoba-Suganama was most recently a Hawaii First Inc. condominium association and operations manager. She has over eight years of condominium association management experience and 15 years of real estate experience.

>> The International Secretariat of the Pacific Basin Economic Council has added Assistant to the President Geraldine Green, Manager of Member Services Rae Gee, Manager of Programs Sylvia Palmer, Manager of Information Technology and Communications Ryan Kawailani Ozawa and PBEC Vice President Steve Olson to its staff. PBEC is an international association of senior business leaders representing 1,000 corporations in 20 economies around the Pacific.

>> Lani Kaaa has been hired as Hawaii Convention Center database administrator. She will assist the sales and marketing team in identifying and solving data communication issues. Prior to joining the Center, she worked with New Millenium Meetings, as a Hawaii State Senate and Honolulu City Council legislative aide, and Hawaii State Office of Tourism specialist.

>> Dan Dennison has been named KHON-TV Fox Channel 2 news director. He is currently the NBC affiliate KOAA-TV news director in Colorado Springs. His 30-year career includes exerience as a reporter, photographer, producer, anchor and news manager.

PROMOTIONS

>> First Hawaiian Bank has promoted four new senior vice presidents: Chief Compliance Officer Joyce W. Borthwick, Oahu Region Branches Deputy Manager Dennis H. K. Hu, Service Delivery Department Manager James Mills, and Bishop Street Capital Management and Financial Management Group Chief Investment Officer Gregory Ratte. Borthwick previously served as a residential real estate division deputy manager at the bank. Hu has been the bank's Oahu region deputy manager since 1999. Mills joined the bank in 1979 as a management trainee and has managed the Schofield Barracks branch. Ratte originally joined First Hawaiian from New York-based money manager Bessemer Trust, where he was deputy chief investment officer. He has 18 years of experience in the industry.

>> Glenn Lung has been named president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple in Laie. The retired fire battalion chief served as the Honolulu Fire Department's Federal Credit Union president from 1974 through 1977. In 1995, Lung retired from his second career as the Latter-day Saints facilities manager.

>> Ogilvy & Mather has promoted Cynthia Derosier to associate creative director. She will oversee creative brand management for Kuakini Health Systems, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. She joined the communications agency's Hawaii branch as senior art director in 1997 before being promoted to creative supervisor.

>> Compadres Bar & Grill General Manager John M. Langan has been elected to Kakaako Improvement Association's board. The association is a forum for concerned Kakaako business owners. It was founded in 1987.
