Ontario has announced a new pilot project aimed at making it easier for people with disabilities to get jobs.

It's investing 1.8-million dollars in the new Abilities Connect Fund -- a one-year pilot project in partnership with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.

It's aimed at providing job training placements of four months to one year for college and university students and recent grads with disabilities.

It will also provide grants of up to three-thousand dollars to employers who need help to accommodate disabled employees and it sets up a new forum to help businesses share best practices about hiring and accommodating people with disabilities.
