Cleveland sex offender breaks disabled 4-year-old stepson's jaw, police say

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland police are on the hunt for a sex offender accused of breaking the jaw of his 4-year-old stepson who has cerebral palsy.

Rodriguez Fortson, 27, is accused of breaking the left and right sides of his stepson's jaw during two attacks in a single month. The boy, who police say is immobile and doesn't speak, has been taken to the hospital for injuries multiple times in the last year and a half, according to officials.

Fortson's criminal record includes sexual battery, assault and trafficking convictions in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. His last known address is on the 3300 block of East 118th Street, police said.
