Google Adds Flickr, Picasa Photos to Street View

Google actually began incorporating geo-tagged photos into Street View last year, but they've now added a new photo-viewing interface for users moving through a Street View tour of well-captured areas. That allows you to peek at places that weren't accessible by Google's camera-topped cars, and also provides more angles on any area you're looking at. ReadWriteWeb frames the addition as a competitive move against Bing Maps' PhotoSynth powers, but it also seems like a fairly logical progression of Maps and Picasa integration. If you've found some neat stuff in Street View's photo views, feel free to link it up in the comments. [Google LatLong via SearchEngineLand]
