 (with photos) ROME, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti ambassador to Malta Faisal Suleiman Al-Musaileem received on Saturday the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the "Hope Sea Journey" conference aimed at building social ties and networks for the mentally disabled.
Al-Musaileem welcomed the delegation members and lauded His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahamd Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's support to all Kuwaiti citizens, especially the disabled.
He stressed on the importance of this conference that was launched under the patronage Malta's Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi from September 9-20.
The conference aims at providing an opportunity to connect and exchange expertise on means of dealing with the mentally challenged with the concerned Malta's government and private bodies as well as the other participating countries, he noted.
The Kuwaiti envoy praised the efforts of the Kuwait's society for the Parents of the Disabled, headed by Rihab BuRislee, and the Kuwaiti delegation headed by Jassim Al-Rasheed and Badi Al-Dusari.
Al-Musaileem had a dinner banquet, attended by embassy personal, on the honor of the Kuwaiti delegation where the latter presented the ambassador with a commemorative gift. (end) mn.nfm KUNA 101347 Sep 11NNNN
