I. INTRODUCTION

Defendant, Prime Healthcare Services, Inc., appeals from a December 16, 2013 order denying its petition to compel arbitration and strike class claims. Plaintiff, Maucabrina Willis, cross-appeals from a December 16, 2013 order denying her Code of Civil Procedure section 128.71
