Tangerine Dream - Exit

Another quality collection of electronic loveliness! There was no way I could get this down to only ten albums

A common thread you may notice between these albums is their heavy use of sequencers.

I'm a sucker for a killer sequencer line (being a Tangerine Dream and Shulze addict) so during the 80's I made a point of hoovering up as many albums in that style as I could and these albums in particular really deliver

In addition to great sequences they all contain amazing melodies which are all but essential unless it's in clinical electro / techno

Again, almost impossible to choose between these as I love them all so much but I would probably put 'Exit', 'Poland' and 'Risky Business' in my top three - not very balanced but I couldn't live without them!

These and many more albums will get a fuller review in my 'History of Electronica'

I must say it's very hard not to just list endless Tangerine Dream albums or tracks in these lists as they do form most of my favourite ever pieces of music - but I am trying...

I need to stop now though - this top 10 has reached 25 - oops!
