DURANGO, Colo.—Wal-Mart is giving a disabled man his job back after he was fired as a store greeter in Durango for clocking in late for lunches.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. spokeswoman Betsy Harden said earlier this week that the company looked into the matter and wanted Wood to come back to work.

Wood was given his job back on Wednesday and will return to work on Monday.

Wood suffered a brain injury in a car crash and has worked for Wal-Mart since 2008. His wife said new managers complained about his time-management and she removed his Kindle and cellphone as a result.
