Boogey, a 25-year old biologist whose real name is David Iye Odey, studied in Morocco after he finished his secondary education at Federal Government College Lagos. He won the 6th edition of “underground” last year, was placed second on Terry tha Rapman’s “zombie” contest and features on MI’s Illegal Music 2.
Boogey describes his style as “hip hop doused with consciousness, poetry, intellect, humor, love and rebellion…”
