HOLLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) – A special education teacher at Holland Central Junior-Senior High School pleaded guilty to selling methamphetamine. Daniel Ellis, 37, of Aurora, allegedly sold meth to an undercover officer on four separate occasions during November and December.

There is no proof or claim Ellis sold methamphetamine to students or on school grounds. Three of the four times he allegedly sold the drug, he was inside a duplex he splits with his parents.

The Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Ellis was a target of an investigation.

Ellis pleaded guilty to four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. He could face up to 36 years behind bars when he is sentenced in June.
