We didn't know you were a Gooner, David! The footballer switches allegiance by taking son Romeo shopping for Arsenal goods

He may be trying to get his sons to support his former team Manchester United, but David Beckham's son Romeo is obviously more interested in another English team.

The nine-year-old was taken to a local Arsenal store on Monday and decked out in an entire outfit to support the club during their evening match against Leeds United.

It was only yesterday that David took his sons to watch his old team Manchester United play, but it appears he's already switching allegiance to another team.

The football superstar, 36, was spotted splashing out on Arsenal merchandise for his sons on his way to the game.

He drove the boys in style through London in his large black Bentley, before he was then seen browsing in a shop near the team's stadium along with his eldest children Brooklyn, 12, and Romeo, nine.

Victoria Beckham's husband, who looked dapper in a white shirt with black jumper and trousers, spent some time looking at the goods, which included hats, scarves and T-shirts.

And he was happy to pose for photographs for fans in the store who were stunned to see him walk in, while the boys seemed pleased to be shopping for footballing memorabilia.

But it appears the shop was in aid of Romeo, who turned up at the store in a grey hoodie, but was later seen in his new garments.

The youngster was dressed in a red Arsenal coat, along with a grey beanie hat sporting the team's logo, during the game and he must have acted as a good luck charm as his team beat Leeds 1-0.

But despite the victory, it obviously didn't impress Romeo's six-year-old brother Cruz, who was snapped yawning throughout and was seen leaning on his father as his boredom took over.

The boys may be getting to see a bit too much football on their trip to England, as they'd already spent the weekend watching David's old team.

Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz have spent the last few years supporting their father as he plays for LA Galaxy in the Californian sunshine.

But they seemed more than happy to return to his roots as they watched his old team Manchester United score a 3-2 FA Cup against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The group looked completely engrossed as they watched the match from the stands, the boys gasping as they caught the action.

And it appears to be a male bonding visit as Victoria, along with baby daughter Harper, were nowhere to be seen.

And while the Beckham boys appear to be being spoilt on shopping trips, reports have also emerged claiming they have been getting breakdancing lessons - from R&B superstar Usher.

The singer set up an audition to see how well David and Victoria's sons could move while backstage at one of his concerts.

Usher tells Fabulous magazine: 'David called me a few months ago asking if I knew anyone who could teach their sons to breakdance. They are like mini gods. They look just like him.”

'The (boys) came backstage with David and showed me some moves. I power down after a show with a cold bath, followed by a hot dip, so it was real nice of him, an icon, to wait for me.'
