SUMMIT COUNTY – The Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board received notice back in October that a 55-year-old man was not getting all of the necessary items he needed for his care.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation and determined that Brenda Miller had convinced the victim to make two deposits into her account.
The two deposits totaled more than $45,000 dollars.
Miller used the money for herself and bought herself a car with a portion of it, authorities say
She was arrested and charged Wednesday with theft from a developmentally disabled individual.
